Welcome to Airbnb Host Tips!

Hey everyone, I’m Eric — host, coffee addict, spreadsheet enthusiast, and the guy who has made just about every hosting mistake you don’t want to make. I’ve been running short-term rentals here in BC for years, and after answering the same questions from friends, family, and new hosts over and over (“How do you deal with guests who…?”, “What price should I charge?”, “Is Smart Pricing lying to me?”), I figured it was time to put everything I’ve learned in one place.

That’s what this little project is about.
A simple, honest guide for everyday hosts. I.e., the things I wish someone had handed me when I started.

I’m not a guru. I’m not a big property manager. I’m just someone who has spent a lot of early mornings doing turnovers, a lot of late nights fixing last-minute issues, and a lot of weekends learning how to make this whole thing actually feel enjoyable and profitable at the same time.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing:

  • Hard-earned tips from real hosting experience
  • Tools and processes that actually save time
  • Mistakes I made so you don’t have to repeat them
  • The small changes that made the biggest difference in my bookings
  • Clear, practical advice — no fluff, no hype

If you’re new to hosting, starting a second property, or just trying to figure out why your Airbnb calendar looks like Swiss cheese, I hope this blog becomes a helpful corner of the internet for you.

I’ll start posting articles shortly. In the meantime, feel free to subscribe below — that way you’ll get an email when the first real guides go live.

Thanks for being here.
Looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned.

— Eric
